Eminent author and niece of Jawaharlal Nehru, Nayantara Sehgal on Tuesday returned the Sahitya Akademi award in protest against increasing intolerance towards right to dissent in the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "silence" on the "reign of terror".
