Unitech to raise funds to speed up housing projects
Facing consumer complaints over delay in project completion, realty firm Unitech today said it will raise about Rs 300 crore from financial institutions and sale of land parcels to complete over 40 housing projects comprising 13,000 flats within the next two years.

Private equity inflows in realty sector rose by 33 percent to Rs 5,193 crore in the first half of 2016 on improved investment climate following reforms like real estate regulatory law, ease in FDI rules and introduction of REITs, according to property consultant JLL.
