Fight to restore the lost glory of Punjabi language continues in UK
Indians and Pakistanis living in the UK have intensified their campaign to bring back the Punjabi language as the second most spoken language in the UK. “All Punjabi families should proactively identify Punjabi as their mother language as Punjabi is a global language spoken across the world by approximately 115 million people,” Dr Iqtidar Cheema said.

Punjab Vidhan Sabha passes resolution to make Punjabi language mandatory in state government institutions
The resolution was moved by Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and appealed to the Speaker to make the Punjabi language mandatory in all state government institutions and the functioning of the courts should also be ensured in Punjabi.
