ICMR urges private labs to reduce coronavirus testing price, writes letter to states, UTs
The Indian Council of Medical Research has appealed to the private labs to reduce the price for conducting the test for the diagnosis of COVID-19 infection. Importantly, the ICM has made a similar appeal to all states and Union Territories calling for reducing the price for conducting the COVID-19 test.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Indian Council Of Medical Research (ICMR) On Tuesday (March 17) issued guidelines for private laboratories to conduct coronavirus tests and appealed the private labs to conduct the tests free of cost.
