J&K CM asks state department to ensure power as per schedule
With winter chill setting in earlier than expected, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has directed the Power Development Department (PDD) to work out an institutional mechanism that will ensure availability of power as per the notified schedule.

Goyal assures Centre's push to develop energy sources in J&K
During the meeting, a joint venture agreement between NTPC, JKSPC was assigned for development of thermal power for the state and MoU between J&K government and JKPDD-BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) was signed to bring out energy efficiency in power transmission and distribution in the state.
