Power consumers to gain Rs 30,000 cr in long-term: Goyal
After the auction of 19 coal blocks, power consumers in the country stand to gain over Rs 30,000 crore over a period of time by way of a cut in electricity tariff, Power and Coal Ministry Piyush Goyal said Monday.

Coal auction to yield nearly Rs 1 lakh crore to states
Respective states will get nearly Rs l lakh crore, including royalty, over the next 30 years from 16 coal blocks sold so far through the ongoing auction, a top government official said on Friday.

Delhi Budget: Power subsidy for consumers using up to 400 units
