Hacker dubbed 'White hat' returns most of $600 million crypto tokens taken, confirms Poly Network
A person claiming to have perpetrated the hack said Poly Network offered him a $500,000 bounty to return the stolen assets and promised that he would not be accountable for the incident.

Hackers return $260 million of stolen $600 million to Poly Network on its request
The value of the coins in the wallets was just over $600 million at the time of the announcement, according to blockchain analysts. Poly Network later urged the hackers to return the stolen funds to several of its digital addresses, saying it planned to take legal action.

Poly Network, a so-called decentralised finance platform that facilitates peer-to-peer transactions, announced the hack on Twitter and posted details of digital wallets to which it said the money was transferred, urging people to blacklist tokens from those addresses.
