Good news for PM-Kisan beneficiaries: Kisan credit card to be issued to 12 lakh farmers in this state
A Zeebiz report said that the Uttar Pradesh government has already prepared Kisan Credit Card for 1.53 crore farmers of the total 2.43 crore beneficiaries, while nearly 90 lakh farmers have been lined up for KYC application. The beneficiaries of the PM-Kisan scheme can also apply for issuing of Kisan Credit card by completing the KYC formalities.

Rs 110 crore PM Kisan Scheme scam unearthed in Tamil Nadu, government hopes to recover amount
In a recently unearthed misuse of a central government scheme, Rs.110 crore was fraudulently credited to over 5.5 lakh ineligible farmers spared across 13 districts of Tamil Nadu, over the last couple of months. Agriculture Secretary Gagandeep Singh Bedi said that the state government has recovered upto Rs32 crore so far, adding that many government officials have been suspended and other individuals have been arrested. He has also expressed hope that the total sum would be recovered within a month and a half.
