Franklin Templeton has acquired 7,879,902 equity shares of Kumar Mangalam Birla-led Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd (ABNL) firm, the company said in a BSE filing.

Pantaloons Fashion jumped 19.92 per cent to Rs 136.60 -- its upper circuit limit on the BSE, while Aditya Birla Nuvo surged 12.94 per cent to Rs 1,773.55.

Pantaloons Fashion to raise Rs 1,000 crore through NCDs
The company, which is part of Kumar Mangalam Birla-led Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd (ABNL), added that fund raise will be subject to the approval of its shareholders which would be obtained by way of Postal Ballot.
