HIV patients may soon get medicines from One Rupee Clinics in Mumbai

The HIV-testing initiative has further encouraged the Mumbai District Aids Control Society (MDACS), which proposed a plan to the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) to distribute HIV medicines through the clinics at various central line railway stations in the city.

Mumbai: One rupee clinics to come up at 10 Western Railway stations by August end 2017

In what can be called as a good news for commuters, travelling on the Western line, authorities have decided to open the cost-effective 'one rupee clinic' at the 10 railway stations by the end of August 2017.

The main goal of setting up the 'one rupee clinic' is to provide emergency help to railway accident victims as well as give medical treatment to the general public.
