Delhi Riots: Ex-MCD councillor Tahir Hussain charged with funding violence in 2020
Delhi Riots: Tahir Hussain has been charged with the offence of funding the riots using money laundered through illegal means. The former MCD councillor has not pleaded guilty, according to ANI. Hussain allegedly conspired to engage in money laundering and the proceeds generated from the crime were used in the riots in northeast Delhi, according to the investigators.

Delhi Police Crime Branch on Wednesday filed two chargesheets in connection with communal riots in northeast Delhi. The chargesheet was filed in the Karkardooma court. The first chargesheet was filed in connection with IB officer Ankit Sharma murder case in which the court will take cognizance on June 16. While the second chargesheet was filed in connection with the violence at the Rajdhani school owned by Faisal Farooqui case.
