Govt hikes paddy MSP by Rs 80/quintal, pulses by up to Rs 400/quintal
The government has approved Rs 80 per quintal hike in paddy MSP, while support price of pulses has been raised by up to Rs 400 per quintal to encourage farmers increase area sown under Kharif crops this season.

CACP suggests hike in paddy MSP by Rs 60/quintal, pulses by Rs 200
CACP has proposed an increase in the paddy MSP by Rs 60 per quintal to Rs 1,470 for common variety and to Rs 1,510 per quintal for grade A variety for 2016-17.

Govt hikes rabi pulses MSP by Rs 325/quintal; wheat by Rs 75/quintal
The MSP of wheat, the main rabi crop, has been increased by Rs 75 to Rs 1,525 a quintal for the 2015-16 rabi season, while that of oilseeds has been increased by Rs 250 a quintal.
