Govt to revisit M&A guidelines, if needed: Prasad
The government will revisit the the merger and acquisition guidelines for the telecom sector, if need arises, IT & Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said Wednesday while assuring that issues concerning the sector will be looked into.

COAI wants TRAI to review telecom M&A guidelines
GSM cellular operators have requested telecom regulator TRAI to review the merger and acquisition guidelines, notified in February, so as to encourage consolidation in the sector.
