Hutchison in talks with VimpelCom on Italian mobile merger
Conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Ltd, controlled by tycoon Li Ka-shing, confirmed on Thursday it is in talks with Russian telecoms group VimpelCom Ltd about a possible merger of their Italian mobile businesses.
