Night temperatures plunge in Kashmir
Leh recorded a minimum temperature of minus 16.8 degrees Celsius last night - a drop of over eight degrees from the previous night's minus 8.3 degrees Celsius, an official of the Meteorological Department here said.

Min temp rises in Valley, isolated rains or snow predicted
After a few days of bright sunshine, dark clouds hovered over Srinagar and other areas in Kashmir today with the Meteorological Department predicting isolated rains or snow even as the night temperature rose at many places owing to the overcast conditions.

Leh town recorded minus 11.1 and Kargil town minus 11.4 today as the minimum temperature.
