Gujarat polls: Ex-BJP MLA Kantilal Amrutia, who JUMPED into river to SAVE MORBI BRIDGE collapse victims, given ticket to contest poll
Amrutiya was seen in several viral videos wearing a life tube and trying to rescue people who fell into the river after the cables of the century-old bridge snapped on October 30. According to eyewitnesses, he "jumped into the river to save lives". The party rewarded him for his daring act and gave him the "ticket" to contest the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections from the Morbi constituency.
