Bollywood happy as Nirbhaya finally gets justice

Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta, Vinay Sharma, and Mukesh Singh -- the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case -- were hanged at 5:30am in Delhi's Tihar Jail on Friday. While Bollywood is happy, many felt justice should have been served long before in this case.

Nirbhaya case convicts wept bitterly in their cells hours before the execution

After the hanging of the four convicts, their bodies have been sent to the Deendayal Hospital for postmortem, which is written in the jail manual. The process of post mortem scheduled to start at around 8 am.
