ISRO plans to launch new rocket made at cost of about Rs 120 crore by November 2020

The Indian space agency is working towards launching its new rocket `Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)` before December 2020, said a senior official.

The rocket’s primary payload will be an Indian Radar imaging earth observation satellite (RISAT-2BR1) weighing about 628 kg, which will be placed into a 576 km orbit. ISRO states that the RISAT -2BR1 would be used for agriculture, forestry and disaster management.
