MHA hands over probe into blast near Israeli embassy to NIA

A minor IED blast took place near the Israeli Embassy in the heart of Lutyens' Delhi on Friday evening. No one was injured. Some cars were damaged in the explosion that occurred about 150 metres from the embassy on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road in the high-security Lutyens' bungalow zone.

Blast near embassy in Delhi took place on 29th anniversary of India-Israel diplomatic relations

A minor IED blast took place near the Israeli Embassy in the heart of Lutyens' Delhi on Friday evening. No one was injured but some cars were damaged in the blast in the very high-security zone. The explosion took place on a day when India and Israel marked the completion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

'Blast near Israeli embassy in Delhi being investigated as an attempted terrorist attack'; all airports and govt buildings on alert

The explosion damaged the window panes of three nearby parked cars, a Delhi police spokesman said in a statement. The blast occurred shortly after 5 pm, while President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were participating in a military ceremony a kilometre away from the site.

Blast near Israeli Embassy in Delhi, some cars damaged; no injuries reported

Some broken glasses have been reported at the spot. No injuries have been reported yet. Fire department officials moved to spot and intelligence officials are also inspecting. It was a call of fire first, while the fire department was inspecting a blast took off and another call of the blast was made.
