Warning message on banned sites: ISPs run into technical issue
Internet service providers are facing technical limitations in complying with a Mumbai High Court order that required them to display error message to visitors of blocked websites warning them of 3 years' jail and a fine of up to Rs 3 lakh in case they use it.

ISP body to approach DoT, Telecom Ministry over spectrum levy
Terming any move to link spectrum usage charges to the revenue as "disastrous", ISP Association of India on Sunday said it plans to approach Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha and also Telecom Secretary to express its concern over the latest consultation paper by the sector regulator.

India aiming to achieve 500 million Internet connections in coming years: Ravi Shankar Prasad
