India, Pakistan to become full SCO members at Astana summit: China
India and Pakistan's admission as full members to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will be formalised at the political and security grouping's summit in Kazakhstan next week, China announced today, while hoping that they would "strictly follow" its charter.

14 people absolved of the charge of working for SIMI
Fourteen people were absolved of the charge of working for banned Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) but five out of them were sentenced to more than three years of imprisonment and fined Rs 2,000 each under Arms Act.
