Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, convicted in rape and murder cases, gets one-month parole
The Haryana government has granted parole for a month to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is lodged in jail on rape and murder charges.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim gets life imprisonment in manager Ranjit murder case, fined 31 lakhs
Ram Rahim and 4 others are accused of allegedly killing his former manager Ranjit Singh in 2002. Due to which 5 convicts including Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh were sentenced to life imprisonment by a special CBI court in Panchkula. A fine of 31 lakh was also imposed on Ram Rahim.

Ram Rahim case: Tight security ahead of verdict; 17 check posts set up, 700 soldiers deployed at each
Ahead of the sentencing of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and four others by a special CBI court in Panchkula, the police have imposed section 144 in the area, setting up 17 checkposts where each checkpost has around 700 soldiers. Ram Rahim and 4 others are accused of allegedly killing his former manager Ranjit Singh in 2002.
