Two drunk men - 1 from BJP, other from CPI - arrested for allegedly vandalising Periyar statue in Tamil Nadu
Police say they were drunk and attacked a bust of Periyar in northern Tamil Nadu's Tirupattur. The incident comes hours after a post by BJP leader H Raja on destroying Periyar statues sparked controversy.
