Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure that families affected by the current wave floods is provided with relief materials, irrespective of whether they are staying in relief camps or not.

J&K govt to suspend licenses of cable operators showing Pakistani channels
The Jammu and Kashmir government has asked all the deputy commissioners of the state to take action against transmission of 34 TV channels, including those from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, saying they have the potential to incite violence and create law and order situation.
