TIFR to launch 10 balloon flights from Hyderabad with help from ISRO for scientific reasons!

The balloons are made of twin (Polyethylene) plastic films, ranging in diameters from 50 metres to 85 metres and normally launched between 2000 hrs and 0630 hours.

Nuclear fuel pellets from Russia to arrive in India July-end

The first delivery of nuclear fuel to the Nuclear Fuel Complex in Hyderabad (India) took place in spring 2009. The fuel pellets made in Elektrostal, Russia are used in Indian nuclear reactors.

Kudankulam Unit 1 shut due to operational purposes: Jitendra Singh
