IMD predicts cold wave conditions, dense fog in parts of Northwest India
Cold to severe cold day conditions have been forecast in isolated/some parts over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

“Observations of 0830 hrs IST, shows dense fog is persisting over Delhi (Palam 50m & Safdarjung 100m). Dense to very dense fog over Punjab (Bhiwani 25m; Amritsar, Bhatinda, Hisar 50). Dense fog over Uttar Pradesh (Agra 50m, Lucknow 100m),” said IMD.

"Fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall/snowfall very likely to continue over Western Himalayan Region on February 3 and February 4. Isolated hailstorm very likely over Himachal Pradesh on 3 and over Uttarakhand on February 3 and 4, 2022," IMD said in a tweet.
