Arvind Kejriwal govt to provide science scholarships to 1,000 class 9 students

Under the 'Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha' scheme, 1,000 students in schools in Delhi will be given a scholarship of Rs 5,000. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, "It is a crucial step for our government to promote excellent and talented students. These students are the future of our country, they will become future scientists, engineers, doctors and architects and will make our nation proud."

High Court stays 50% reservation for Delhi students in National Law University

 The Delhi High Court Monday stayed the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) decision to reserve 50 per cent seats for candidates from the national capital. A bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad asked the NLUD to issue fresh admission notification on or before July 2. The court said a prima facie case was made out for a stay on the university's decision.
