38% samples tested for genome sequencing in Delhi last week are Omicron

There have been 38 cases of Omicron in the country
The cases of omicron are increasing in the country. 18 cases have been found in Maharashtra, 9 in Rajasthan, three each in Karnataka and Gujarat. At the same time, 2 cases have been found in Delhi, 1 in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Chandigarh.

The person was coming from Zimbabwe and had earlier travelled to South Africa as well. India has 17 Omicron cases from Maharashtra, nine from Rajasthan, three from Gujarat, and two from Karnataka and Delhi each.
