Release 3,000 cusecs daily to Tamil Nadu, Cauvery panel tells Karnataka
The Cauvery Supervisory Committee on Monday ordered the Karnataka government to release 3,000 cusecs of river water daily to Tamil Nadu between September 21 and 30, a senior officer said.

The Cauvery Supervisory Committee, which is to meet here on Monday to decide on the quantum of water to be released, is analysing the data given by Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and may defer its decision if the information provided is found to be "inadequate".
