Centre releases Rs 17,994 crore Cash Credit Limit for wheat procurement in Punjab
The central government has released an amount of Rs 17,994.21 crore towards Cash Credit Limit (CCL) for Punjab's Rabi (wheat) procurement, a state government spokesman said here on Thursday.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely on Wednesday assured Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh that he would direct the RBI to ensure that all arrangements for wheat procurement in the state are in place by March 25.
