Citizenship Amendment Act: BJP launches toll-free number to garner support; Centre clarifies 'Myths'
To curb misinformation being spread against the CAA, the government is circulating the "Facts" related to the law that aims to grant citizenship to members of six communities -- Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists and Parsis -- facing persecution in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan and having sought refuge in India on or before December 31, 2014.

BJP to run support campaign on citizenship law from 5 to 15 January
Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah said that BJP will start a support campaign for citizenship law between 5-15 January. BJP seeks the support letter to the Prime Minister of India of at least 1 crore citizens in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
