Sensex to open for trade on Budget 2020 day

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), also known as Sensex, will be open for trading on February 1, 2020, on account of the Union Budget 2020-21, even though it will be on a Saturday. Trading timings would be as usual starting from 9.15 am to 3.30 pm and the pre-open trade would be held during 9 am to 9.15 am, the exchange said in a notice late on Tuesday. Generally, stock markets are closed on Saturdays.
