Demonetisation: Govt asks FinMin to direct banks allowing diplomats money withdrawal on priority basis
Taking note of foreign missions in India facing difficulties in withdrawing adequate money post demonetisation, the Finance Ministry has been asked to direct banks to allow diplomats to withdraw money on a priority basis.

Demonetisation: Wedding card, copies of advance payments to caterers required for withdrawing Rs 2.5 lakh for wedding expenses
Making rules further stringent for interested parties, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made it compulsory to produce wedding card, copies of advance payments made for booking marriage hall and caterers in order to withdraw Rs 2.5 lakh from own accounts.
