The Delhi Traffic Police in its advisory informed that Road No 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj will be closed and people coming from Noida are advised to take DND or Akshardham to reach Delhi. Anti-Citizenship Act protests: Former Congress MLA Asif Khan named accused in FIR in Jamia violence

However, the former MLA denied the charges and said he was involved in a peaceful protest. "We are not rioters. I have already made it clear that no one is above the law," Khan said. He further accused the SHO of threatening the locals and demanded a judicial inquiry into the police action against university students.

West Bengal: Nine trains cancelled on December 17 amid anti-CAA and NRC protest

According to information shared by the railway authority, a total of 15 trains, including the Howrah Express from Tirupati and Ernakulam, were cancelled, while 10 trains, including the Shalimar Express from Tiruvananthapuram, were partially cancelled following the agitation on Sunday (December 16). Oncoming trains from Puri, Odisha were also cancelled on Monday.
