Many killed in flash floods, landslides in Bhutan and Nepal, rescue operations underway
Flash floods triggered by heavy rains washed away a remote mountain camp in Bhutan on Wednesday killing 10 people and injuring five, while floods in neighbouring Nepal left seven people missing, authorities said.

Uttarakhand: The authorities discovered two more bodies on Friday (February 12) taking the death count to 38, while over 200 still remain missing. The rescue team continues their operations for the sixth day at the tunnel near Tapovan, where more than a dozen fear trapped.

The glacier burst in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district has left many in distress. NDRF and SDRF personnel teamed up with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to mount rescue operations.
Over 168 people remain missing on the fourth day of rescue operations. Authorities said that out of 36 bodies discovered by the personnel only 10 bodies have been identified.

Naushera: Indian Air Force rescued man stuck in river due to heavy water flow
