Afghanistan: Death toll of devastating earthquake climbs to 1,100, over 1,600 people injured
More than 7,000 people have been killed in earthquakes in the country, according to the UN`s Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports. There are an average of 560 deaths a year from earthquakes.

DNA: Over 1000 died in Afghanistan earthquake
At least 1000 people died due to the earthquake in Afghanistan. The big problem there is that the Taliban government in Afghanistan knows how to kill people, but does not know how to save the dying.
