Serena on Serena -- the dress, the dancing, the singing

London: Serena Williams won a sixth Wimbledon title and 21st Grand Slam on Saturday with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Garbine Muguruza.

Not surprisingly, the 33-year-old American was in fine form at her post-match media conference.

AFP Sports picks out the gems:
On her longevity:

"I just keep reinventing myself."
On keeping fit:

"It`s the Serena plan. I used to box...now I`m dancing a lot. It`s a contemporary style. I don`t know how to describe it. It`s just lots of movements. It`s not like super fast. It`s slow, not too slow. Sometimes a lot of floor work, so..."
On winning the US Open and completing the calendar Grand Slam:

"Oh, man, I`ve won New York three times in a row. I hope this isn`t the year that I go down. I want to do well there. We`ll see. I`ve won three, so that`s not bad."
On the end of the match when there was a bizarre pause before result was announced:

"I didn`t hear her (the umpire) say, Game, set, match. So I was just really confused."
On Sunday`s men`s final between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer:

"I`m glad I`m not playing either one of them."
On her gown for Sunday`s Champions Dinner:

"I found out the better dresses I bring, I usually win. If I bring a not-so-nice one, I don`t win. I brought a really nice one this time."
On being the oldest winner of a Grand Slam:

"Coooooool."
On staying focused in a big match:

"Usually I`m singing a song in my head. Then if I stop singing it, I usually start losing, then I go back to singing. It`s crazy up there. You don`t want to be up there."
