IPL 2017 Auction: Top 5 Indian players to watch out for

Ishant Sharma has the highest base price of Rs.2 cr in comparison to any other Indian player in the pool. The tall pacer from Delhi was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad after an injury plagued season. He has played 70 IPL matches and has taken 59 wickets till now.  

Base Price: Rs. 2 crore

Irfan Pathan has been missing from the senior Indian cricket team since 2012, but he proved his worth in the domestic circuit with impressive performance in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. He was released by Rising Pune Supergiants last year, in his 102 matches in the IPL he has scored 1137 runs and took 80 scalps.  

Base Price: Rs. 50 lacs

Priyank Pacnhal will be hoping to get picked up by one of the teams after having a great Ranji Trophy season. He was the top scorer in the tournament (1310) and scored 314 against Punjab and lifted the trophy for Gujarat after 66 years.  

Base Price: Rs. 10 lacs

Cheteshwar Pujara has been a great batsman for the Test side and played well against New Zealand, England and Bangladesh. He was released by Royal Challenegrs Bangalore last year. He has played 30 matches in IPL and scored 381 runs.  

Base Price: Rs. 50 lacs

Ishant Jaggi is the latest player to make it to the auction list after his great performance in the recently conlcuded Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. He will be hoping to get picked up by one of the teams after scoring 51, 90 and 58 in the inter-zonal tournament.
