New Delhi: Popular Indian columnist and novelist, Shobha De has hit out at India's Olympic contingent after successive failures to bring a medal home.
The 68-year-old considered shooter Abhinav Bindra as India's best hope for medal but he too bowed out finishing 4th in the 10m Air Rifle event.
Seeing the repeated disappointments, Shobha tweeted:
Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.
