New Delhi: Rio-bound wrestler Narsingh Yadav on Tuesday met PM Narendra Modi in the capital.
The Mumbai-based grappler was handed a clean chit by NADA on Monday after he had tested positive for a banned substance.
After the NADA verdict, Narsingh thanked the PM for helping him get justice.
Earlier in the day, the 26-year-old was told by Mr. Modi to perform without any stress at the upcoming Olympics.
The PM also wished Yadav luck for securing India a medal in the 74 kg category.
"Unhone aashirwaad diya, kaha ki aur achcha kariye, aapke saath kabhi anyaye nhi hoga (He wished me luck and said that you perform and there will never be injustice with you),” Narsingh said.
