New Delhi: Days after courting controversy for "mocking" Indian athletes at Rio Olympics 2016, noted author-columnist Shobhaa De wished Dipa Karmakar all the luck ahead of Sunday's vault final.
Karmakar, the first Indian gymnast to qualify for an Olympics apparatus final, will compete with other seven finalists in the vault on the eve of India's 70th Independence Day.
De tweeted:
