New Delhi: Indian freestyle wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt had won a bronze medal from the 2012 London Olympics in the 60 kg category but his medal is now set to be changed to silver after reports confirmed that the runners-up from the 2012 Games, deceased Besik Kudukhov of Russia, had used banned substances, as per flowrestling.org.

Kudukhov died at the age of 27 in a car collision in southern Russia.

Moving up from bronze to silver, Yogeshwar Dutt will now join Sushil Kumar, who also won a silver medal at the London Olympics.

Yogeshwar had secured a bronze medal in the London Games by defeating Ri Jong-Myong of North Korea.

Yogeshwar might have failed to win a medal at the Rio Olympics but this news will certainly bring cheers to his fans.
