New Delhi: India's unbeaten boxer Vijender Singh successfully defended WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title on Saturday. He dismissed the challenger, Francis Cheka of Tanzania, with in not time, with the referee stopping the contest after one minute fifty six seconds in third round.

Vijender, 31, not only dominated the bout, but also enjoyed his dominance with some show-boating. Regarded as one of the smartest boxers around, Vijender's teasing of Cheka could have been a planned move, but for those witnessing the act, it was a treat.

In his previous seven bouts, Vijender defeated Sonny Whiting, Dean Gillen, Samet Hyuseinov, Alexander Horvath, Matiouze Royer, Andrzej Soldra and Kerry Hope.

By beating Hope in Delhi in July, Vijender won his first title, that of vacant WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight.
