Boston: Molly Huddle won the Boston women`s 5K title after a record-tying time of 15 minutes and 12 seconds.
The 2012 Olympian tied the Saturday record which was set by Ethiopia`s Werknesh Kidane in 2012, reports Xinhua.
Ethiopia`s Mamitu Daska and Sentayehu Ejigu took the second and third place respectively.
The B.A.A. 5K is the first race of the B.A.A. (Boston Athletic Association) Distance Medley, a three race series that includes the B.A.A. 5K, B.A.A. 10K, and B.A.A. Half Marathon, presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
