Earlier in the day, India beat Malaysia 2-1 in a Pool B match of men's hockey to confirm their entry into the semis with two wins from three matches. But Gagan Narang and Chain Singh failed to finish among medals after qualifying for the finals of men's 50m Rifle Prone Position event. Later in the day, Para Powerlifter Sachin Chaudhary won bronze in the men's heavyweight category. India's medals tally stood at 11 Gold, 4 Silver and 6 Bronze at the completion of the sixth day.
