Wenger says seven teams in hunt for Premier League title

London: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that as many as seven teams are in the hunt for the Premier League this season, playing down talk of his club being a potential title champion.

League leaders Arsenal, which comfortably won 2-1 against Swansea City on Saturday, have 15 points from their first six games and are above second-place Liverpool who are on 13.

According to the Mirror, however, the Frenchman said that he feels the title race is as unpredictable as it has ever been in the Premier League as now Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton can also be added among the ranks of the top clubs, which was previously dominated by Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and themselves.

Stating that they have a very `open chance`, Wenger also said that they just need to take each day as it comes, adding that it is still early stages of the season, in which they have only played six games.

Arsenal will now turn their attention to European action, as they gets ready to play Serie A runners-up Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday, the report added.
