New Delhi: India will breathe a sigh of relief as Robin Singh's injury wasn't a serious one after x-rays revealed the same.

India face Nepal in a crucial Group encounter in the SAFF Cup as the hosts will look to book the semi-final spot with second win on the row. Robin Singh was crucial for India against Sri Lanka in their opener and the Blue Tigers will hope he delivers the goods once again against Nepal.

The Delhi Dynamos and Bengaluru FC striker had picked up an injury against Sri Lanka and was substituted by 18-year-old Lallianzuala Chhangte.

Robin Singh has been in good form since the Indian Super League after registering some good performances for the Dynamos. He scored four goals in 12 matches.

Robin Singh made sure he got his form do the talking against the Lankans. He got India ticking right from the opener and his presence made the difference in the end. Singh's two goals gave India the advantage they needed.

India have beaten Nepal once in their last three matches and two have been stalemates.
