PSG ready to face Real Madrid, claims Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Paris: Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Sunday warned Spanish football giants Real Madrid that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are ready to face them next Wednesday in an European Champions League encounter.

The striker oozed confidence especially after his brace against Bastia in Saturday’s Ligue 1 contest, which PSG won 2-0. But the Swedish star believes the tie against Real will be different.

“Wednesday's game against Real Madrid will be completely different,” Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying by goal.com.

“We will play at home against one of the best teams in the world, it will be fun to play. Now we can focus on that and we are ready for them."

On Saturday the 34-year-old scored twice in the last 20 minutes of the game which helped PSG maintain a five-point lead at the top of the table.

"It's a good result against Bastia, because we have beaten a difficult team to play against,” he said.

"We remembered our bad result here last season (in which PSG lost 2-4), but this time we took the three points and continued our effort to win titles."
