New Delhi: A photo of a five-year-old kid from Afghanistan has been doing the rounds in internet, in which he can be seen wearing a blue and white striped Argentina shirt made out of a plastic grocery bag, with the Barcelona legend Lionel Messi's name and jersey number on it.

Interestingly, the boy has been identified as Murtaza Ahmadi from Ghazni province in Afghanistan.

His photo became viral on internet and later he was termed as Messi's 'biggest fan'.

As per the report in BBC Trending, Murtaza's uncle Azim Ahmadi, claimed that the boy lives in a rural area in Jaghori district of Ghazni province.

However Azim himself has been living in Australia.

"This little kid really loves Messi and football. It is not possible for us to buy [a jersey] for him. Because I am a simple farmer. So the kids decided to use the plastic," Arif said.

Azim, who has been in touch with Murtaza's father, also claimed that Murtaza knows that he is famous now and is "extremely happy" about it.

As per few media reports, Messi is said to be keen to give his youngest and now popular fan a real playing shirt.
