New Delhi: Virat Kohli's breathtaking batting on Sunday in Mohali not just impressed the cricket world but also found appreciation in Premier League football circles.
The Delhi batter stroked a masterful 82-run knock to power India to the semi-final of the ICC World Twenty20.
Under immense pressure for most part of the run chase, Kohli held his nerve to bat right through the innings.
The 27-year-old's knock was so special, it even made Tottenham Hotspur and England star Harry Kane sit up and take note.
The forward took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to applaud the right-hander's effort in a tough situation.
Virat Kohli is some player! In the high pressure situations shows what type of player you are and he does it time and time again! #IndvsAus
